Kyalio is happy to announce it’s first academic publication “Immersive virtual reality as a surgical training tool: A cohort study” regarding the use of it’s VR content and technology for education. We hope to produce more research in the future to support this budding field of medical education

ELSA invites you to download the First Real VR Surgery APP. In partnership with The Endoscopic and Laparoscopic Surgeons of Asia (ELSA), Kyalio is pleased to announce the beta launch of our Real VR Surgery app. ELSA x KYALIO is a collaboration that will reach more than 3,000 surgeons across the world. Kyalio’s VR App aims to bolster ELSA’s mission of outreach and education through the use of innovative technologies.

Kyalio was invited to present on surgical education at the Endolaparoscopic Surgeons of Asia (ELSA) Congress 2020. A first time Virtual Congress titled "MIS in Era of Disruption", the two day ELSA Virtual Congress featured 29 sessions/lectures, 127 speakers and 2239 attendees.
We shared how real scene VR excels as a modality for online surgical education through it's ability to broaden learning objectives while also emphasising the need for affordable and accessible online surgical education in Asia.
It was an honour to speak alongside the learned panelists who are all on the forefront of surgical education. A big thank you to the ELSA Executive Committee, Congress Organising Committee for giving us the opportunity to speak, and also the attendees for gracing the sessions and making the congress a success.
